A lot of editing/post production are to mimic the retro look, and I was drawn to their vintage aesthetic and had went a long that path as well. One day it struck me: why not shoot with the real thing and experience how the photography were like, where I control everything manually, from the aperture, shutter speed and focussing from the lens. 35mm film creates images with a timeless, distinctive look, characterised by natural grain, rich colours, and subtle tones that I believe it just can’t be replicated with digital cameras.
